Edit After Create

When adding equipment to a drawing in real mode or when transmutating phantom equipment, you have the option to see the “Edit Equipment” window. The Edit Equipment window allows you to review existing database information about the equipment and add additional information.

The following procedure will show you how to enable or disable the Edit After Create option.

1.    Select “Equipment Settings” from the VidCAD Equipment ribbon or toolbar.

2.    In the Diagram Equipment Settings window you can turn on or off the “Edit after create” option.

3.    If the Edit after create option is turned on, you will see the Edit Equipment window when adding new equipment to a project (in real mode) or when transmutating phantom equipment.

4.    If the Edit after create option is turned off, you will bypass the Edit Equipment window when adding new equipment to a project (in real mode) or when transmutating phantom equipment.
