3.0.1.700 -> 3.0.1.804

VidCAD SQL 3.0.1.804 Changes : August 17, 2010

This release eliminates minor bugs from the VidCAD SQL 3.0.1 major release.

VidCAD Main Menu:

*The "New Room" command now displays all Sheet Set Templates that do not have ISO or ANSI in the .dst name.

*Cleaner preview images in the title block style selection area of the Default Facility and Template Settings window.

Jacks:

*Resolved Fatal Error that was occuring when deleting project Jack Panels in the Jack Panel command.

Equipment Recall:

*Resolved issue with Dynamic Cable Edit that would cause the Dynamic Edit Palette to close if a cable number was double clicked. A double click now expands the drawing tree.

Equipment:

*Resolved issue that would not allow users to create new Manufacturer inside VidCAD

*Resolved issue that would allow users to place spaces in I/O line text.

*Resolved issue that would not allow users to create revisions of Distribution Amplifiers.

*Resolved issue that would allow users to create I/O line text greater than 10 characters if the High/Low fields were used.

*Resolved issue that would cause the program to crash when inserting a Jack or Router Border when running VidCAD with Full AutoCAD.

*Viewers for 3-D Block, Connector and equipment icon have been eliminated. Though most users did not experience any problems with these viewers we had many reports of crashes, freezing or screen painting that was caused by certain video card and driver difficulties with the AutoCAD preview window. We attempted to use other AutoCAD viewers but none eliminated the AutoCAD/Graphics conflicts. Though there is no alternative for the 3-D block preview, we have added a preview window to help you select the connector or equipment icon. Since this is a larger view it should make selecting icons faster and easier.

Cables:

*Resolved issue that occurred when using the "All Cables In Drawing" option in Cable Delete.

New Change Log!

We have updated the look of our change log to make it easier to read and update. In the future you will see built in instructions and videos to make the change log (dare I say) FUN to read through.
