Using Categorized Drawing View

VidCAD's Categorized Drawing View was created to assist users by categorizing, or grouping, drawings by type such as concept, diagram etc. This categorized drawing view should make drawings easier to find and open.

Note: Categorized Drawing View cannot be used in conjunction with VidCAD Virtual Folders.

1.    Open the VidCAD Main Menu.

2. Notice the drawings in the facility below list are in alphabetical order.

3.    Select “Settings” from the Utilities pull down menu.

4. Select "Enable categorized drawings."

5. Select "OK" to close the Settings window.

6. All drawings in every facility are automatically sorted into drawing categories.
