Editing Data in Equipment Grid
In Equipment Grid you can view facility specific data about equipment and edit key data fields. Data in the grid is sorted by Sysname (default) and can be sorted by any of the other columns in the grid and many of the data fields can be edited. The following procedure will show you how to edit data in the Equipment Grid.
1. Select a facility from the VidCAD Main Menu, then select “Equipment Grid.”
2. The Equipment Grid now opens and displays all of the equipment in the selected facility.
3. Select one or multiple equipment Sysnames from the Equipment Grid. You can use the Shift or Control keys on your keyboard to select multiple equipment items.
4. Database information for the selected equipment Sysname(s) displays on the bottom of the Equipment Grid. In these fields, you can manually enter or change equipment data.
5. Select "Close" when you have completed making your changes or to exit the Equipment Grid.
