Deleting Terminators

In order to remove terminators that have been added to a drawing and the project database, they must first be deleted from the project database, then deleted from the drawing.

The following procedure will show you how to delete a terminator from the database and then from the drawing.

1.    Select “Equipment Delete” from the VidCAD Equipment ribbon or toolbar.
    

2.    Select “Query” from the Equipment Delete window.

3.    Select the terminator from the equipment list then click “Ok.”
    Note: Terminator Sysnames always begin with TRMO followed by the Sysname of the equipment it is connected to and the input or output name on that equipment.

4.    Select “Done” from the Equipment Delete window to delete the selected terminator.

5.    The terminator is now removed from the project database but is still in the drawing. To remove it from the drawing, click on the terminator to select it and press “Delete” on your keyboard.

6.    The terminator is now deleted from the project database and from the drawing.
