Minimum Block Height

VidCAD will automatically control the block height based on the number of inputs and outputs selected. However, you can also set a minimum height for equipment that only displays one input or output. The image below shows you the same piece of equipment with the same number of inputs and outputs, but with different Minimum Block Height settings. The first image has a minimum height of 2 (which is the minimum possible in VidCAD). The second has a minimum height of 4 (which is the default Minimum Height setting). The last two have a minimum height of 6 and 8, respectively.

The following procedure will show you how to change the minimum block height.

1.    Select “Equipment Settings” from the VidCAD Equipment ribbon or toolbar.

2.    Select “Block” from the FlexiBLOCK Settings of the Diagram Equipment Settings window.

3.    Change the Min. Height field to your desired height.

4.    Select “Ok” and all future blocks added to this drawing will use this Minimum Height setting.
